Welcome to TROOP 3

Thanks for taking time to visit our web site. here you can find information on our troop and the activities that we participate in.

Troop 3 meets Tuesday nights 7:00pm at Saint Paul Presbyterian Church 18901 E Hampden Ave, Aurora , CO 80013 just east of the Seven Hills shopping center.

 Troop 3 is a boy run troop which means that the boys plan a yearly program and decide where we go on our monthly outings. The troop also has monthly PLC meetings where the troop leadership plans the troop meetings for the following month. The Scoutmaster, along with the assistant scoutmasters guide the boys in their planning and decisions, providing the needed skills and resources with help from the troop committee.

The troop has a monthly outing planned which could consist of a camping trip, day hike, or a District or Council event. In this past year we took trips to the Sand Dunes with a side trip to The Alligator Farm, Cherry Creek reservoir where we made our nearly famous Turkey dinner, skiing at Copper Mountain, tubing at the Frasier tubing hill, we also took trips to Peaceful Valley, Castlewood canyon, Pawnee Buttes, Fulford Cave and Vedauwoo Wy, Summer camp at Peaceful Valley, along with several council and district events.
